$15,000 for police brutality
Earlier this week, Madame Justice Beames of the BC Supreme Court awarded one of Mr. Tessmer's clients a whopping $15,000 for having been wrongfully arrested and detained in a jail cell for 9 hours. The client was treated quite roughly and testified that she no longer trusts the police.
