Tessmer Law has a marihuana grow op case where the police failed to contact Health Canada first to ascertain if the resident had a license to grow marijuana legally . We are aware of other instances of legal grow operations being destroyed by the police and the residents being subject to arrest and unlawful searches because the police did not bother to phone Health Canada first to see if there was a legal license to grow in place.
