When you don't think you have a chance...

This past summer Mr. Armour received a phone call from a potential new client who was charged with the offence of Driving While Prohibited.  The client had previously been to see two other lawyers who both told him he had no chance of winning the case and should just plead guilty.  However, the client was unsatisfied with that advice since he had a prior conviction for Driving While Prohibited which therefore would have resulted in a mandatory 2-year driving prohibition as well as 14 days in jail.  The client then retained Mr. Armour, who, through some strong plea negotiations with the Crown, knocked the penalty down to a small fine with no jail time and no time off the road.

Just another example of retaining the right lawyer.  Remember: just because you've been charged with an offence, it doesn't necessarily mean you don't have defences and are without options.
