Unlawful Roadblock

A road block in Golden, BC ran for 60 hours, during which time the police were stopping anyone and everyone and searching vehicles left right and center.  One of our clients went through the check and the police found two duffle bags of marijuana and a large amount of cash in the trunk. 

Stan Tessmer successfully convinced the Judge to rule the road block was unconstitutional and illegal and all of the drugs and money found was excluded from the trial.
