Cory Armour began articling with Tessmer Law in 2009 and has continued on as an associate with the firm since August of 2010 when he was formally called to the bar.
Although born in Kelowna, Cory was raised in Kamloops, BC where he completed all of his secondary and high-schooling. Cory then spent two years at UCC (now TRU) before transferring to UofA in Edmonton to complete his undergraduate degree in biology and psychology. Upon graduation, Cory left Edmonton and moved back to BC where he studied at the University of Victoria earning an LLB degree.
While attending UVic, Cory proved to be naturally proficient in the courtroom and during his second year of study, represented the university itself in Toronto, Ontario during the 2008 Gale Cup Moot. Following this, Cory spent one term of his schooling working for The Law Centre, a legal clinic in Victoria that provides free legal services to those who cannot afford lawyers of their own and whom otherwise do not qualify for Legal Aid assistance. Following this, Cory then decided to move back to his hometown of Kelowna to practice criminal defence professionally.
When not at work, Cory is an avid animal lover and spends much of his time with his dog hiking or geocaching.
